OMG... this weekend I had the opportunity to experience one the best shows ever. I saw Beyonce perform at the United Center in my hometown Chicago. I personally have been a fan of Beyonce since Destiny's Child. The energy in the auditorium was amazing, all kind of people came into one place just to see her perform. I would not be surprised if one day Beyonce becomes as popular as our lost legend Micheal Jackson.

Check out another ad Beyonce and Solange shot for the Samantha Thavasa handbag brand. They both made history by being the first black celebs ever to star in a campaign for the Tokyo company. They look really lovely in the shot, it looks very natural, like there was no photoshop in sight.

Apparently CHUM FM has gotten it’s hand on a bit of American Idol 8 dirt, but we’ll file this under “rumors” for now, just to be on the safe side. The radio station is saying that Jason Mraz and Beyonce will be mentors this season. If you ask me, this is highly believable, especially Beyonce. The producers already said they’re looking into getting younger musicians on the show and I think Bey’s name was one that was specifically thrown around (along with Britney).

I hope these both turn out to be true; ideally I’d like to see Beyonce do a billboard or 2000s theme and Jason was one of my top choices for an unplugged theme to begin with, something I’ve been wanting them to do for several seasons now.
